Intensive for Substance Misuse & Other Limiting Behaviours
Whether you are stuck in cycles of using alcohol and other drugs, enduring abusive relationships, mired in eating disorders, self-harming (cutting, etc), repetitive dieting or any other self-limiting behaviour to cope, it isn't because there is something wrong with you; it is simply that you are using a tool to cope that isn't working. We will be looking for new coping mechanisms now to change your life.
Over the course of this program, we will be combining cognitive behavioural therapy, other alternative therapeutic approaches and elements of our Infinite Possibilities (see funshops) program to look at what is keeping you locked into a cycle of self-defeat that leave you feeling judged, unloved and, worst of all, unlovable. From the very first week, you will discover techniques and tools that you can use to change your life in any area. You will practice small steps in a safe group environment while you ready yourself to put them into practice in your daily life. You are unique, you are individual and most of all, you are different from anyone else. Not only will you discover WHO you truly are, you will also discover WHAT works for you and WHY your dreams, hopes and goals are important in your life. And, you will discover new ways for your dreams to meet or become your reality on a daily basis.
Week One : PUTTING THE PAST TO SLEEP
This week, we will look at our current thoughts and where they came from (our past, what we have been told and our past experiences including any victimization) and start to look at how our experiences and thoughts have created and are perpetuating some very limiting beliefs about ourselves.
Week Two: WAKING TO THE WONDER OF YOU
Once we recognize our limiting beliefs and how they were formed, we can begin to see how this has affected our mental, emotional and physical well-being. Time will be spent on forgiveness of self and others as well as grieving the traumas and/or losses we have experienced or created in order to understand and generate healthy mental and emotional attitudes through grounding, meditative and visualization techniques.
Week Three: BREATHING THE DREAM
Now we can begin to formulate our new thoughts, dreams, goals and aspirations in different areas of our life! Thoughts really do become things!!!! Let's start thinking good ones!
Week Four: CAMERA, LIGHTS AND ACTION
This week, we will be integrating all we have learned, setting new goals based on what we want for ourselves and aligning our reality with our dreams. It’s time to Shine your Divine!!!
Join us in this four (4) week intensive treatment program, 3 days a week for 4 hours each day. It will change your life! Limited to 10 participants.
